WHAT IS IMU CET?

The IMU CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test) is an entrance exam for admissions to various marine programs.

After clearing the IMU CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test), you can apply for various maritime courses offered by the IMU / Affiliated Institute. The specific courses you can apply for depending on your educational background and the level of the program you are interested in.

The Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) is a national-level admission test. It is conducted in Computer based test (CBT) mode annually.

For admissions to Courses:
1. B.Sc (Nautical Science )
2. B.Tech (Marine Engineering)
3. DNS (Diploma in Nautical Science)

• No. of Questions – 200 multiple choice questions. (MCQ)
• Duration : 03 Hrs
• Syllabus - English, General Aptitude, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (12th Grade / Plus 2 level / Intermediate / Equivalent level.
• Negative marking may be applicable as per 2024 IMU guidelines.
